Every school year begins with a sense of excitement initially, then a whole lot of worrying. Be it worrying about the first major exam, what type of clubs to join, how to overcome homesickness if a Freshman in college or worrying just to worry, sometimes. With so many changes occurring to your environment, it is completely okay to have a *healthy* amount of this emotion happen.

Yet, making sure that there are outlets for you to feel at ease and most importantly, at home, while at college is a top priority. So how can you do that? Today you'll find out three different ways to...they're all natural and easy to make!

DIY Hand Sanitizer

The first way to keep yourself level-headed is to not get sick! So, take steps to make sure you remain germ-free. After all, being on a college campus isn't always the cleanest, are we right or are we right? This quick DIY hand sanitizer will save you some serious dough from the store-bought version and will keep you clean due to the rubbing alcohol.

Homemade To-Go Snack

When hunger strikes mid-lecture, what are you supposed to do? Sit silently and let your stomach growl awkwardly? Oh, no. Make sure to keep yourself a healthy on-the-go snack to reach for while in class. This way hunger doesn't keep you from learning or listening, affecting your ability to recall important notes later on!

What You'll Need:

+ 2 Cups Rolled Oats

+ 1 Cup Sliced Almonds

+ 3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

+ 3 Tbsp Manuka Honey

+ 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract

+ 1 Tsp Cinnamon Powder Organic

How To Make:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Mix together the oats and almonds in a bowl.

Separately, mix together the coconut oil, honey, vanilla extract and cinnamon

Bake in the oven on parchment paper for 30 minutes, checking in every 10 to mix granola around a bit

Once brown, remove. Let cool.

Store in snack bags and eat when you need a treat!

Hopefully, the three tidbits on how to make sure you stay focused, healthy and satiated, will help ease the worries!
