There are several things that I know are good for me, that I tried to eat and work my brain around the idea, but I just couldn`t follow through with it and it was a short lived experience. It`s just a matter of fact when it isn`t tasty. Well I found a healthier cookie alternative that`s still a cookie, but just made gluten free and with ingredients that would cater to most who have food allergies or special dietary needs. I received 3 different cookie packages from Lucy`s to try out: Berry Best Cookie, Chocolate Chip and Lemon Goodness. At first impression, the cookies are hard and crunchy. This isn`t a bad thing, it`s just that I`ve been making homemade cookies a lot lately and am used to eating them fresh out the oven when they`re super soft and falling apart. So the crunch was a "wake-up call" so to speak for me. Each flavor was absolutely delicious though.
Normally I`m not big on crunchy cookies, but these are amazing. Also, being that they`re gluten-free and not made with traditional cookie ingredients I wasn`t sure what to expect. Being an avid junk food eater I couldn`t tell the difference between these and other cookies though as far as how it`s made goes. As far as freshness they were fresh upon arrival and have at least a year before they expire. So plenty of time to eat them. Each container contained 15 small cookies. Whether you have food allergies or not, Lucy`s cookies are delicious and highly recommended!
