As someone who enjoys trying new foods, I was excited to try these guys out!

 

 

So I was pretty excited. I remember back in my retail store working days I would always buy TV dinners for my lunches. They were quick and convenient. Some tasted amazing, others, not so much... So I honestly wasn't sure how Tandor Chef was going to play out as far as taste goes.

 

Now unfortunately, my local Winn Dixie only had one variety so I purchased two of the same kind: The Chicken Tikka Masala. For this authentic Indian recipe, Tandor Chef did a slow roast marinated boneless chicken breast then simmer in a robust, creamy sauce. Their Chicken Tikka Masala entree also includes cumin-Infused basmati rice for a perfect balance. To enjoy, simply microwave for 3 minutes, stir, microwave for an additional 1 minute, then enjoy!

 

For me, I mixed the rice with the chicken and O-M-G, I fell in love! It actually had a "homecooked" meal taste to it and was full of flavor. Everything seemed to cook well, too! 

 

Part of me does wish there was a bit more to the tray than they have, however, it's not that big of a deal. I just enjoyed it that much and think a bit more would make it more filling. Aside from that, these frozen meals were absolutely delicious and are certainly ones I would purchase again in the future!
