Oh the favorite household chore of Laundry! Don`t we all know that one. Anyway I came across a new biodegradable laundry detergent called Country Save. I never heard of it until now.

 

Since 1977 Country Save has strived to offer just a few excellent products that they take special pride in manufacturing and marketing through a variety of retail channels. One thing I highly respect about them is that they provide our fighting men & women with Country Save Powdered Laundry Detergent in Health & Comfort Kits that the Defense Department buys for all branches of the services! Every service person gets 10 packets of Country Save to clean up in the field! How awesome is that?

 

So what do I think? I think this detergent is awesome! It`s 100% phosphate-free, completely biodegradable, safe for septic tanks, sensitive skin safe, fragrance & dye free. no optical brighteners, cruelty-free, no animal testing, not to mention a great price comparison! I chose to use my sample pack in my laundry load of towels. Those are the heaviest and thickest load to wash plus usually have a smell to them after use. Eww! So that was a good test for the detergent.

I used the detergent as directed in my wash and my towels came out smelling clean -- that`s the best way I can put it. There`s no fragrance in it, but my towels didn`t come out smelling like wet rags, they smelt clean. As silly as that sounds, it`s the best way to put it. Regardless, this was some a nice detergent to try out and I would definitely use it again in the future!
