One of the biggest questions we’ve surprisingly found ourselves asking lately, although maybe slightly embarrassing, is “How do I properly wash my hands?” Did you know that 95% of consumers do not know how to wash their hands properly? In this current climate, we shouldn’t be questioning a basic daily routine, and with the enormous number of brands to choose from, this one is teaching us the right way to do it. In the midst of this new norm,
How to Wash was born.
How to Wash’s signature scents include Ocean Air, Lavender Fields, Fresh Lemon, and Fragrance-Free and are all free of sulfates, parabens, SLS, SES, added dyes and are not tested on animals.
Education is the cornerstone of How to Wash’s business model, and the easy-to-follow packaging was designed specifically for families and children to make hand washing fun yet informative. Founder and Former Educator, Melinda Rubin, kick-started her career in teaching and has built a legacy in helping others through mentoring, coaching, and developing products for the greater good. With three key elements in mind, knowledge, natural ingredients, and accessibility, How to Wash features a step-by-step guide adopted from the World Health Organization to show users how to properly wash hands, stop the spread of germs and keep everyone healthy.

I was sent some soaps to try for myself. I love the uniqueness of these in the fact that they display how to properly wash your hands on the bottle itself! Each fragrance is light and subtle. I personally enjoy stronger scents, but regardless, this soap actually worked pretty well as I have decided to use it by my kitchen sink. It adds a nice bubble when you rub the soap in and, to be honest, my hands felt soft and moisturized after using it.
For those who do not know, here is how to properly wash your hands:
Step 1. Wet hands with water.
Step 2. Apply soap to cover all of the surfaces of your hands.
Step 3. Rub hands together, palm to palm in a circular motion.
Step 4. Move your right palm over your left palm with interlaced fingers and vice versa.
Step 5. Wash hands palm to palm with fingers interlaced.
Step 6. Interlock the back of fingers of opposing palms and clean.
Step 7. Rotationally rub right thumb clasped inside your right palm and vice versa.
Step 8. Rotationally rub backward and forwards with clasped fingers of the right hand in left palm and vice versa without forgetting attention to fingernails.
Step 9. Rinse hands with water.
Step 10. Dry wet hands with a single-use towel.
Step 11. Use the single-use towel to turn off the faucet.
Step 12. Now your hands are clean and safe.
Overall, I am quite pleased with the soap and can honestly say I would recommend it!
