You all know how much I love Little Passports by now since I’ve worked with them many times for a variety of their boxes for my oldest child, Sophia. Sophia is homeschooled as you all know by now and you also know we incorporate many different methods of teaching with her to help her learn a bit more easily. I love fun learning ideas because you have fun and tend to remember and pick up on something a lot quicker when it’s fun. At least that’s how it’s been for me. Throw a lot of textbook work in and sure I’ll learn
Since I am always searching for engaging activities to spice up our homeschool days and build on my children’s interests, Little Passports was the perfect addition to our day! Enough about Sophia though, this box is for Jace, my 3-year-old son. Jace loves watching educational shows and playing with color sorting toys, but even more, he loves getting mail! Sophia gets those Highlights magazines and I`ve gotten a couple baby editions for Jace and when something comes in for him, he gets beyond excited! So when his package came in with his name on it, just for him, he was ready to tear into it right away.
We are a San Francisco-based company founded by two moms wanting to design an inspiring and fun way for kids to learn about other countries and the 50 states. We each have young children and hope they’ll take an active interest in the world at a young age. We plan on encouraging them to do so by providing them with opportunities and experiences that inspire the imagination. As we thought about how to do this, we remembered the anticipation and excitement we felt when we received mail as kids. We decided to incorporate this element of surprise and joy with the online games kids love today. We blended these two concepts and developed the idea of monthly travel packages, including letters, souvenirs, activities and online games.

The above image is from Jace's first package. You can read that review here.
This is Jace's 2nd box/package for his Little Passports Early Edition subscription and he absolutely LOVEs it! Since his first package came with a suitcase already, this package came with goodies for him to add to his suitcase. This one came with some mini statues along with an information card about each and where they are located. Again, Jace is a bit too young to understand all that, but he loved the figures and played with them along with his other action figure toys. Also, in his package, he received a sticker for his passport book, a postcard, a luggage tag, an activity book with age appropriate activities, and a fun little activity to play with a flashlight with. Of course, all items Jace did require help with, but he had a blast attempting to do them on his own as well.
Each item in his kit was high quality and a lot of fun. My older daughter, Sophia, who is 9-years-old, had fun helping her little brother with his new stuff and she also had a good time learning about the places in his package, despite it being intended for younger children. Overall, Jace loves his first Early Explorers box and can`t wait to get his next one in. Even though Sophia is older, she had fun helping her little brother out. I think it`s safe to say this box was a hit and fits in perfectly without homeschooling curriculum.
