Since I'm a stay at home mom and actually have time to do things I decided to start a garden. I attempted one when I was pregnant with Jace, but with a difficult pregnancy leaving me hardly able to move or go out, it died off and I just couldn't keep up with it unfortunately. Although I did get some peppers out of it, that's as far as it went. So now that the pregnancy has passed, I'm able to function again, I started a garden again. We have corn, beans, peppers, watermelon, squash, potatoes, etc. So far I see a few peppers and just this morning picked a couple garden beans. I'm excited watching everything grow, but when I'm done outside there's nothing more enjoyable than a nice relaxing bath and washing away any dirt. Not only do I enjoy that fresh and clean feeling, but it helps get rid of any itchy irritation I may have gotten from bug bites or getting into anything I shouldn't have. Well since I'm one of those natural, healthier living lifestyle kicks I discovered a new soap to check out called Healing Tree Bamboo Charcoal Soap. Not only did I get to try some, but one lucky reader has a chance to win some as well!
Healing Tree Bamboo Charcoal Soap is high in absorbency so it draws dirt from deep inside the pores. Unlike normal soaps that only clean the surface of your skin, this soap can free up a lot of dirt that clogs deep beneath your skin especially if you have acne, eczema, psoriasis, and dry/cracked skin. Bamboo charcoal undergoes a firing process of 1,800 F to create high absorbency properties making it 4x more absorbent than wood charcoal. As a result, it cleanses your skin by removing years of accumulated dead skin cells. With your pores re-opened, your skin will begin to begin to breathe again and naturally moisturize itself. There's no residue like other soaps, doesn't dry out your skin, and has no harmful chemicals. So if you want to feel what it's like to have your skin feeling like new, give this amazing soap a try! When the soap first came in I was a bit surprised because it didn't really have a scent or at least not a noticeable scent to it. So of course I was a bit nervous on how I would like it. I mean I generally love natural products, but I also love for things to smell good as well. Upon using the soap I noticed it really suds up great, which I love. I also noticed I felt clean, despite not having a real scent to it. Usually without a scent I don't feel very fresh and clean from other soaps, but even after drying off I just felt completely refreshed. The thing is with this soap it allows your skin to breathe. It removes the dead skin, draws out toxins, and clears your pores. All these things help you feel clean. While I still prefer feeling clean and smelling flowery or fruity or something, I felt a big difference from smelling nice to actually being clean. So knowing how great I feel after, I'm not so concerned about it having a scent. It's great for those people with sensitive noses anyhow and are sensitive to various fragrances. If the scent thing is a big concern but you want that clean feeling, in all honest get yourself some therapeutic grade essential oils and use them along with your soap. That way you still keep with healthier products, but not compromise your favorite smells for a good bar of soap that works. Needless to say I'm impressed and like the charcoal soap and definitely recommend checking it out; especially if you spend a lot of time outdoors!
