In this post, I’m going to tell you how I make money when I shop at Sephora, Macy’s, and Best Buy, among other stores.  I earn cash on pretty much anything that you can think of: hotels, airline tickets, makeup, clothes, and food/accessories for my pets.

My last purchase was a valentine’s gift for my husband from Macy’s.  I got him the Hugo C-Brandon Men’s Leather Belt for $95.00.  I earned $14.25 for this purchase.  I already have close to $70.00 on the cash back site I use, which I am saving up for a shopping trip with my girlfriends.  

I usually don’t buy extravagant things, but when I get cash back I don’t feel as guilty for getting something nice.  Most stores offer free shipping, so it’s not more expensive to get things online.       

I especially like to earn cash back on high-end items since it makes me feel less guilty about spending the extra cash.  As a mom, it is difficult to splurge on some items, so I do everything I can to earn some cash on the side.  

If you are a bargain hunter, you are probably familiar with coupons and cash back rewards programs.  If you don’t earn cash back on online purchases, you’re missing out on free money.  

This is not a new concept, cash back sites have been around for years.  However, cash back sites are not all the same, so it’s important to shop around and choose the best one.  Some cash back have higher rates than others, which makes a huge difference when you redeem your earnings.
