Being a mom I know how important it is to keep items as germ free as possible. Now I realize keeping things at a 100% is pretty much impossible, even if I spent every waking hour to accomplish that goal. So to make things a bit more simple, Purely Products has teamed up with my readers and I for a review and giveaway! I was sent the Pocket Purifier to try out. What exactly does it do? Well, it`s a compact germicidal light from Purely Products that uses the same UVC light used to sterilize surgical instruments to eliminate 99.9% of germs that cause colds, and flue, plus e-coli, salmonella, mold, fungus and MRSA staph. The pocket purifier uses four AA batteries and is operated by holding the device by about one inch above the surface you want to clean for about 10-15 seconds. A 4-watt germicidal ultraviolet light deactivates the DNA of bacteria, viruses and other pathogens destroying their ability to multiply and sanitizes the items you are trying to cleanse. For even more enhanced protection, the pocket purifier features a specially designed UV-Lid that blocks UV light exposure to your eyes and skin. So what do I think of this? Well, there`s honestly no way to really tell if it`s working as it should without having some sort of lab come in and test for germs. The device itself is light weight and easy to use and operate though. It`s only $19.95 and it`s available in black and pink. Not only does it have the purifier part to rid germs, but it also doubles as a flashlight. Also, the fact that it`s compact I think is great. It can easily be stored away, kept in your car glove box, purse or where ever. The shipping time was also done in a timely manner, another plus for me. Overall, I think it`s a pretty interesting unique device, and if it really does rid all those germs, it`s genius and affordable! I`ll leave it to you to get an opinion.
