When it comes to having friends over for a gathering, aside from having a good playlist, it’s vital to have some good drinks. When the temperatures get to be unbearable and the a.c. just isn’t cutting it, it means it’s time to cue creativity! We've combined the delightfully refreshing taste of fruit with favorite drink recipes to form booze-inspired pops...a sure-fire way to make the day that much better.
The best part? These recipes won’t break the figurative time bank or the literal one, as they include budget items like sugar, frozen fruit and water. Can you say happiness ahead?

+ Place the skewers in the molds..
+ Freeze until ready to eat!
Holla-peño "Tequila" Pops
These ice pops have peach for a bit of sweetness and jalapenos for a spicy surprise. The fusion of sweet and spicy is just right.
- 1- ¼ pounds ripe peaches
- ¾ cup sugar (or an alternative sweetener like Sweeter Stevia 4.5 oz)
- 1 small jalapeno pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
+ First make a simple syrup for the jalapenos (you don’t want chunks of hot pepper in every bite, after all!). Here’s how: In a sauce pan, bring sugar and water to a clear liquid over low heat. Add in the sliced peppers and bring to simmer. Remove from heat immediately and take the jalapeno out of the mix.
+ Place the peaches and lemon juice into the blender, mix to be smooth.
+ Once done, in a small bowl, stir together the simple syrup with the peachy mix.
+Place in molds and let set in freezer.
So when you’re in a time crunch and your brain can’t come up with a single idea for what to make, hopefully, you’ll find creative salvation in this post. Three recipes that are as pretty as they are tasty are sure to make a great addition to whatever themed party you’re hosting. Compliments will definitely ensue.
