What if we told you there was a way to help pump up your body’s defenses and add a burst of flavor to your everyday meals? Allow us to introduce you to Elderberry!
Elderberry, also known as Sambucus, has been used in European folk health traditions for generations. Extremely popular in its syrup form, Elderberry is sweet and fruity on the palate without the unpleasant “medicine-y” aftertaste. What makes Elderberry your immune system’s best friend?**
Packed with vitamin C, antioxidant flavonoids, anthocyanins and other beneficial phytochemical compounds, elderberries have been studied for their powerful support of the immune system, particularly during those nasty seasonal changes.** It is also known to soothe your sinus and upper respiratory passageways by drying the mucous membranes of the sinuses and throat.**
Incorporating Elderberry into your regular diet is a smart choice for living a healthy lifestyle, and while taking the recommended amount per day is all well and good, why not throw some pizzazz into your routine?
