I`m always looking for new ways to promote my site, of course. I have a yard sign, even though we don`t have many people in our neighborhood or lots of traffic. I promote online. Well now I can promote while on the go; in my own car of course! I teamed up with Vinyl Disorder and got a custom vinyl decal and they`re also going to give one away (of your choice up to 23") to one awesome reader!
First of all I have to say this company was awesome to work with! Upon receiving my first decal - yes they had to send me a couple, I was attempting to apply it to my car and it just wasn`t cooperating. I thought maybe the decal just wasn`t going to work. It tore apart, got stuck together, it was horrible! I was disappointed, but contacted the company about the issue and got a super quick reply back that they would be happy to send me a replacement. Well they pleasantly surprised me and sent me TWO replacements which were here in no time. So once again I went out to put the decal on. This is the first time I`ve done decals on my car aside from simple stick people. These are thin vinyl letters on sticky paper being applied to a scorching hot car with just enough wind to move the paper. Yes, a real challenge, especially for a first timer. So I get the 2nd one starting off really well until I was half way through the the heat wanted to mess up the letters as I was trying to carefully apply it without burning myself on the car. Oh lord, I thought that was it and I was going to have to tell them how horrible of a job I did and all that jazz. For the final try I got smart and CUT the decal into smaller sections so I could apply them piece by piece. I mean it`s hard doing it across the back windshield of a car in the heat let alone being short and having to stand on a chair to do it as it is! Well as they say the 3rd time is a charm! Sure, I could have probably done better if it was much cooler outside and I hadn`t actually burned my hand in the process. Yes, the car felt like an oven! Now typically these work great on the walls, but a car, well it sticks great, just a pain to get on for the inexperienced and short like myself. I`m so glad Vinyl Disorder was kind enough to send me two replacements, they must have known I needed them. No questions asked. No rudeness or insults. It was a smooth transaction. I realized it was more of my issues than their products because while they`re great for walls and cars, you have to remember it`s still hot and they`re still vinyl so naturally the heat will get to them. After all is said and done I am VERY satisfied not only with the finished product, but the customer service. The service I received from them is what truly stands out and is so important to me. The product is great as well, I just suggest if you`re going to put them on your car to wait til it`s cooler outside just as a convenience for yourself. They stick great yet peal off super easy. Thank you Vinyl Disorder for being so wonderful and helpful!
