When it comes to keeping your hair health in check, it seems like you can go crazy trying to find just the right product. We don't blame you, after all, there are so many advertisements claiming to be the next best remedy in split ends or the miracle worker to getting longer locks. Yet, the surprising truth is, these items will end up just costing you money regardless if they work up to expectation or not.
Today, we're spilling the beans and enlightening you on a secret: you can get luscious locks without breaking the bank, at all. How? By using ingredients you find in your home! The DIY Mask we're giving you today has a bunch of ingredients that are good for your hair and light on your wallet.
Eggs.
Eggs are a great way to naturally add shine to your hair since they have a high protein count which could temporarily restore the strands of the hair. Thus, leaving you with the appearance of healthier looking hair!
Manuka Honey.
Since Manuka Honey has a bunch of vitamins, it naturally nourishes your hair. This helps to give it a bit of sheen when dried!
Avocado Oil.
Avocado Oil, like Manuka Honey, is a source of vitamins. It naturally has vitamins A, E, and D. These are all great for moisturizing the hair, leaving it with a touchable softness.
The Recipe.
Ready to make the mask? Grab a bowl and spoon, and say goodbye to expensive products!
1 tbsp. Manuka Honey
1 tbsp. Avocado Oil
3 Drops Rosemary 100% Pure Essential Oil
2 Drops Peppermint 100% Pure Essential Oil
1 egg
Mix all these together in a bowl, and apply to hair.
Let sit for 30 minutes with a shower cap on.
Rinse with a sulfate-free shampoo, like Jason Natural's Biotin Shampoo, under lukewarm water.
Enjoy your luscious locks!
Warning: Do not wash under hot water, it will lead to the eggs "cooking", and leaving lumps in your hair.
