(From August 2012) Well now that we are officially married I can now begin to share my centerpieces and such that I made particularly for our wedding! This post I`m going to share my Orchid Tree Center Piece. I made this piece particularly for the bridal table. To give a little background, our wedding theme was "Enchanted" inspired by Taylor Swift which was also our song for the first dance. Our wedding colors were Fuchsia/Hot pink, Black, and Silver.
I was trying to find the photos from before to after but unfortunately I only have after. So here`s what I did. I bought the manzanita tree which was already in the pot and had white rocks around it. I figured that was too boring for me so I went to my favorite craft store Michaels and bought a few branches of the orchids and used E-600 glue to glue the pulled petals into various places on the tree. During my trip I had bought additional flowers that I wasn`t sure of what I was doing at the time and mixed them in by making it look like flowers going up the tree and some hot pink roses at the base to hide the white rocks. I then used some clear acrylic garland along with some clear acrylic ornaments to finish up the decorating.
In the end it looked BEAUTIFUL on the table with the other decor I made! Of course since the wedding just took place on the 25th we haven`t gotten those photos to show it off as of yet!
