Espira Power Greens - $30

 

 

I bought the berry and the lemon-lime flavors of the Epira Hydration Supplement to start, but intend on ordering the orange with a future order, along with 1 canister of the Espira Power Greens and 1 box of the Espira PM Restore. As someone who enjoys adding flavor powders to my water already, I figured these would be a better option. While I do like having a wide variety of flavors, so I don't drink the same flavors every day, these were definitely some great options to start with.

 

First, I tried the Espira Hydration Supplements by adding a packet to a bottle of water. I found I really did enjoy the flavors and did feel hydrated after drinking them. These supplements did not leave me still thirsty, rather my thirst had been quenched. I thought the flavors were nice and enjoyable as well. The packs are larger than your typical water flavor packets as well so these are more suitable for 12-16oz bottles of water rather than an 8oz glass I found. 

 

Next, I gave the Espira Power Greens a try. For me, I wanted to just try it mixed in with water. I have to admit, adding the powder to a bottle of water is challenging as you have a scoop to use rather than individual packets. Nonetheless, surprisingly, it didn't taste bad. With just the powder and water alone I found it had a 'green' sort of flavor - kind of like a Spinach flavor, but not a strong nasty one. To improve the flavor, for me, however, I found my adding a few squirts of my fruit punch water flavor to the Power Greens it tasted really delicious rather than like a liquid salad. So just a suggestion to make it more enjoyable. Of course, most people would probably enjoy it a lot more if it were mixed with their shake. To each their own, but either way, it is delicious and a great way to get that added fruit and vegetables in your diet!

 

Finally, I tried the PM Restore. Like the Hydration supplements, these would go best in a 12-16oz bottle of water in my opinion. The flavor is a bit of the citrus sort, but not one that I loved. It wasn't nasty or bad, but it was just different from the sweet flavors I typically enjoy. While I can enjoy this with this flavor alone, to make it even more enjoyable I add a couple of squirts of my 'orange vanilla' water flavor mix and it tastes absolutely delicious! I have been using this on and off for a few weeks now and honestly think it has definitely helped improve my skin. I like to drink this before going to bed, however, it doesn't make you sleepy so I guess you can really drink it at any time of the day. Regardless, it seems to do as it claims and doesn't taste bad. 

 

Ultimately, each item was a nice experience. As stated, if you're not a huge fan of the flavors, you can easily adjust them with some other water flavor mixes (I suggest using the liquid mix rather than powder if you go this route). Each easily mixed into my water bottle. I would just add it in, shake my bottle, then enjoy. I didn't have clumps of the product or any gritty textures to my water and no funky aftertaste. I was very pleased and definitely think they're worth trying!
