In our home we have 2 cats, both litter box trained. Of course with 2 cats it means cleaning the box twice as often and twice as expensive and twice the odor. Yuck! I love our fur babies, but sometimes I wonder what they got into that the odor is so horrible. We finally upgraded litter boxes that now have covers and such not only for better odor control but for less litter on the floor as well. Well on top of that we also got some Litter Getter to try out which helps attract cats to their box for those in training as well as help with the odor.
About Litter Getter
Litter Getter is an all-natural mixture of herbs and plant extracts designed to:
– Attract problem cats back to the litter box
– Assist in training kittens
– Reduce unpleasant litter box odor
– Comfy for cats with sensitive paws
– Clumps with all clumping litter.
Litter Getter replicates an outdoor environment for your cat, naturally attracting them back to the litter box, it smells fresh, it reduces the unpleasant ammonia-odors found in Litter boxes, enhancing the quality of life, for both you and your cat.
How to use:
Start with a clean litter box. Add you favorite cat litter, sprinkle Litter Getter to lightly cover the litter box. Add an additional 1/8 bottle whenever more litter is added. Litter Getter works equally well with all types of litter including traditional, clumping and all natural.
Just to see how the cats would react I sprinkled some of the Litter Getter in each of their boxes. Immediately they were curious and sniffing around and checking out their box. I also put a little bit on their scratch post play area and they were a bit more attracted to that area as well. As I said, our cats are already litter box trained so I couldn’t tell you how it is as far as attracting them to use the box, but they did seem to enjoy the scent of it after I put it in some of their favorite spots. So I can say for sure that our cats are quite attracted to the Litter Getter.
As far as odor goes I don’t find any real significant changes – maybe because we’ve been on top of our game cleaning the boxes regularly and we had began controlling the cats diets a bit better as well. I find the Litter Getter just has a light cat nip like fragrance to it, but once you sprinkle it you don’t really smell it as much – and this is coming from a pregnant woman’s nose!
Overall it’s hard to say how well this product works when it comes to training since mine are trained, but I can conclude the scent is attractive for the cats and it does draw them into the area it is at. Would I recommend it? Definitely! If anything else it’s just another extra to make your cats happy and spoiled.
Sometimes Litter Getter is not most suitable for you and your cat. Take these points into consideration:
WRONG TYPE OF LITTER
Try going for more organic and natural litter. It will pair easily with the natural herb mixture of Litter Getter and our cat will appreciate it more.
If you’ve cleaned the litter box, filled it with brand new litter, taken your cat to the vet, used Litter Getter but your cat is still missing the litter box, we must inform you that your cat is a dog.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
