If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.

In most cases, I receive absolutely no compensation for publishing free offers. However, I occasionally find freebies, deals, giveaways and even host product reviews through third parties that offer a slight compensation and from time to time, I will accept them. My viewpoints, thoughts, and editorials on the samples received or monetary compensation are in no way affected nor influenced by the compensation. Furthermore if I ever receive a free sample directly from a company, I mention such in any post I write about it.

My two criteria for determining whether or not to publish a sponsored freebie are:

  • Is the freebie actually 100% free?
  • If not, is this freebie still relevant and useless to the readers of HIF?
  • Would I post the freebie to Closet of Free Samples even if I were to receive zero compensation?

If the answer to those questions is “no,” as 99% of the offers happen to be, then I pass. Additionally, even if the answer to the questions are “yes,” I will sometimes still pass on the offer due to extenuating circumstances.

Let me be clear: I will never publish a freebie, deal or product review or any other type of offer on Closet of Free Samples that I don’t personally believe to be worthwhile, free, and legitimate “ regardless of compensation. My number one goal with Closet of Free Samples is to bring as many freebies and deals to my readers as possible, not stuff my pockets with as much money as I can grab.

A more common occurrence on Closet of Free Samples is to see commissioned links, which are links that I receive a small commission on for each action taken by the end user. Again, these links are only used when meeting the same three standards as marked above and in order to make it easier for readers of Closet of Free Samples to spot these links, I place them all under an affiliate code that has a “funny appearance” to them rather than the direct homepage/web link. If you see a link with a refer attribute, you should assume that is an affiliate link and that I am getting a commission.

Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question. This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest. All freebies are posted without prejudice. I have no political/religious/personal agenda to promote here, and I may not even agree with the message the freebie is promoting. But freebie censorship is not what this site is about. If you don’t agree with the message a freebie is promoting, just pass on the freebie. The next one I find might be one you do believe in, and someone else might disagree.
