{ SCAM } Your Account (google)

Heads up on another scam of people trying to get all you users who use GMAIL (or a google email account). If you can't read the email image screen shot at the top this is what the email itself says:

Due to the recent software upgrade on our database, we have made alot of changes to how Google applications are accessed. You may have noticed a change on the sign-in page as well as Google Instant for easy search. But we regret to inform you that some accounts were affected during this upgrade process and we are sending out a notification to possibly affected users to update their account information to avoid suspension :

Now, while the email addresses used to send this email seem quite accurate to those who don't know any better (see screen shot below), but see where I highlighted in green (or just read the whole thing really), does this sound like the type of email that the GMAIL team would send? First of all, there is NO gmail logo used in this email. None. Second, I believe the team member of google know how to use proper English in their emails, therefore they would know that "alot" is supposed to be "a lot". Basic English which is taught early on in elementary school. 

Anyway, if you get any emails such as this, report them to google as a "phishing email", which you can do by clicking that little drop down arrow in the top right corner of the page and click "report phishing". (See screen shot below for where to go). Then that's it!
