{ SCAM } Gmail Account verification

This is of course an old scam, but for those to the email and internet world may not know of it. I just received this email in my inbox (I disabled clickable links from the email for your protection):

Basically, they're claiming they want to verify my account. I highlighted what makes it obviously a scam. First of all, the email address they use is not an official google administration email.

Second, there are two things wrong with the link. The beginning of it shows "htpps" when typically a link displays "http" or "https".

Third thing wrong with the link which you can't notice since I disabled the link is instead of actually leading to the link displayed, the link is actually linked to this web address: http://www.advmailservice.com/l/6c9347d3766c11e08b2c005056a3018b

Fourth they leave an international phone number, yet my account is associated in the US.

Fifth, there is no gmail logo in the email.

Need I say more? So beware of emails similar to this. And always report them to gmail.

How to report scams to gmail:

At the top right of your email you will see the REPLY button. When you click it a drop down will show up:

Go down and select "REPORT PHISHING" and that's it!

Generally gmail will respond back to let you know that the email you reported was indeed a phishing attempt. (Basically a fancy word for scam, etc)

**UPDATE**

I was just more like this. This is 3 times in one day. Rather than doing another explanation I just pasted the screen shots and a copy of the email & made a highlights. What's highlighted is the suspicious parts.
